If you have trouble downloading the titles in your library, visit Didn't Receive Content. Your content will appear under Downloaded Items. Select Archived Items, and then double-click the title you wish to download. Make sure the app is registered to your Amazon account and then follow these instructions to download your titles from the Cloud: If you recently updated your Kindle for Mac app to the latest version, you may need to download your content again. You are unable to see content that you previously downloaded to your Kindle for Mac app. I'm not sure why it's viewing this as a new device - with previous updates, everything went smoothly. Amazon/Kindle is viewing this as a new device - when I check the "Manage Devices" screen in Amazon's website, I now see "Kindle for Mac 1" and "Kindle for Mac 2".Another issue, probably unrelated but who knows: download speeds seem very slow. I'm not sure if downloading from Amazon, rather than from the Mac store, may be behind the problem. For whatever reasons, the Mac App store only has the Kindle for Mac 1.12.4 version, not 1.15.0.Other issues that strike me as odd, although I doubt they're related: I've already tried deleting the app and reinstalling it. 20 minutes? 30 minutes? I'm not particularly eager to delete and re-download around 500 books, especially because download speeds seem exceptionally slow now: books that used to take 10-15 seconds are now taking. I haven't yet found a pattern for what books work and what don't. Please remove the book from your device and redownload it." This isn't happening with all books, but with most of them. It seems to open OK, but most books I select gives me the message "The book could not be opened. I've just installed Kindle for Mac 1.15.0 on my iMac (using El Capitan). I'm not really sure where to put this question, but I'll try here.
